    I slipped on ice in my backyard last night after a little groaning on the ground in the snow and dog poo I got inside just in time for a migraine to overtake me.

    It was nice to go to bed at 9pm though.

    I almost died from this year's other big C back in March. Hope it's a long time till I see the inside of another hospital.

    Here's wishing you a better 2021. But I think there's a way to go.

    @RhythmFender, I'm glad you lived to see the end of this thoroughly-crappy year. Your tale is way more serious than mine, but as long as we're dumping on 2020...

    I'm happy to have gotten through a nasty couple weeks with COVID. Ten days with a fever, shut up in a hotel room 1700 miles from home. It could have gone south easily, but I'm thankful that it didn't and I managed to stay out of the hospital.

    The one bright spot in this awful year was that the pandemic kept me close to home and I rode my bike more this summer that I have in the last 10 years combined. My heart and lungs were in the best shape they've been in a long time, so I had extra lung capacity when I needed it. So, there's that.

    Otherwise, so long 2020. Don't the the door hit ya...

    Great news everybody! There’s a new and improved strain of c19 to welcome us in 2021. It spreads even faster. Scientists are confident the vaccine will still be effective, but DANG!
