Let's not forget rock's most famous bottle of JD!

I’ve got a Rick Turner Model One and it is a great guitar. I don’t think it is weird at all.

Maybe not weird, but unusual for sure. Looks like yours has a few extra options to it.

Also, is it just me or are those pots in the same place as they would be on a strat? Since Buckingham was primarily a Strat player?

Lindsey’s original didn’t have a piezo pickup. Mine does. The extra knob blends the magnetic pickup with the piezo.

Over the years Rick Turner has experimented with the placement of that knob. Mine was made in 2001 and the positioning of the blend knob is the bottom one nearest to the tailpiece. As far as I’ve been able to discover there is only one other like it. Most others I’ve seen have it on the upper bout where on a Les Paul would have its switch.

Eric Loy, who had this harp guitar custom made for him. He's a heck of a good guy too! I've held this guitar and man is it heavy!

Finally, Fee Waybill's guitar has made it as a political philosophy, it's about time. Then, of course, there is the fine art of customization and relic-ing... Does that count?

This has gotta be the weirdest. Not convinced he ever actually played it though.

I believe Bowie’s supro was actually Link Wray’s that he bought from his estate. A copy later released by the new supro as a David Bowie custom
Did not know that, thanks. That's real interesting. I'm a big fan of Link-wish more people were aware of him, his great music and place in music history.:)

Yeah me too, I loved him, I love his self titled ‘71 vocal album. Came out a whole year before exile on mainstreet, surely Keith couldn’t have been listening!
