Maybe not weird, but unusual for sure. Looks like yours has a few extra options to it.

Also, is it just me or are those pots in the same place as they would be on a strat? Since Buckingham was primarily a Strat player?

Lindsey’s original didn’t have a piezo pickup. Mine does. The extra knob blends the magnetic pickup with the piezo.

Over the years Rick Turner has experimented with the placement of that knob. Mine was made in 2001 and the positioning of the blend knob is the bottom one nearest to the tailpiece. As far as I’ve been able to discover there is only one other like it. Most others I’ve seen have it on the upper bout where on a Les Paul would have its switch.
