I can't give you a citation, but the study I read mentioned hand held power saws which have the blade to the right of the handle, that much closer to a left handed operator's body.
The study also mentioned car accidents where the decedent's vehicle swerved left into oncoming traffic to avoid a sudden obstacle in their own lane. In a situation where instantaneous reaction is necessary, left handers tend to swerve left, right handers to the right.
The study concluded from the statistics that left handed people were about 50% more likely to die from accidental causes.

He says it's so that he can get himself out of situations that would be otherwise impossible.
It's so that he can switch hands and gain a stroke...
Wasn't the guitar initially designed to be played left handed, so the right hand covered all the intricate fretting work?
The two lefties in the Beatles are still alive.
The two righties are doing the great gig in the sky.
Face it , we are superior . It should be left at that .

I am referring directly to the left handed people when I said we . I make no apologies for this . In fact , I proclaim it from every mountain top into every valley .
They said this about my left-handed ancestors who built their castle staircases left-handed...
But the Kerrs were aye the deadliest foes
That e’er to Englishmen were known
For they were all bred left handed men
And fence [defence] against them there was none
So well the Kerrs their left-hands ply
The dead and dying round them lie
I'm not left handed but it does run in my family. My grandfather and 3 of his brothers were lefties.
I've set it once and I'll say it again....
All guitar instructors should have to be left-handed so they are the mirror image to right handed students.

Too soon, man. Too soon.

Least amusing thread for a while.
