the 150 is quite a bit more efficient than the 125, so it'll have more headroom before breakup. if you don't care about clean tones, the 125 will suit you fine. the 150 will break up nicely at high volumes, but it'll clean up more when you roll your guitar volume back.

I actually have BF vibro champ so I made that 2x10 cab for it. now I have 10A125 and 10F150P in it and I noticed the F (ceramic) is a bit more louder but also it's pretty dark. it's nice in combination but I'm going to buy another 10A125 as I really like that alnico, so this should be even better. both are/will be 30watts versions, so will that be too much for vibro champ?? will the amp show it's potential when w0rking with that high power of speakers as VC is only 6w?

The big cost difference between the two is the amount of alnico used in the magnet. The 150 has a significantly bigger magnet than the 125, and alnico isn't cheap. 
I had bought a 10A125 (20 watt) for my VC. To my ear the 10A125 (due to its lower efficiency) needs more than the VC's 5 watts before it really comes to life. With 15 watts pushing it really sings! I prefer more efficient ceramics with the VC.
The speaker's wattage rating only describes the maximum wattage before it burns up its coil, you can push a lower wattage just fine. The speaker's sensitivity/efficiency is the more important figure.

sure thing, I know about the ohm ratings. here's the cab I built, so I want it to give the best speakers as I worked on this pretty much, don't ask

@laird - thanks for pointing that out. I never tried that speaker on some more powerful amp and I always felt like they can give more than they are giving now with Vibro Champ. I always wondered about these Signature series. are those speakers the same as vintage, only with less power? would VC be more "friendly" with them? sorry to ask all these question, I'm just a bit curious at the moment

I think a pair of Alnico Signature 10S speakers would sound great with your VC.

I have a 30 watt 10A125 in a brown Princeton which is about 12 watts and it is a very nice match. It is seems to follow the amps characteristics from clean to edgy to break up. I like that speaker a lot and wish I could afford another one for a different amp!
