We owe it to wildlife. We have ruined endless habitats of different species in the last 100 years. We are smarter now. That bridge will save many animals lives and even some humans. We should be as concerned about these guys as we are going into space, even more.

These overpasses have been under construction and in use, in multiple places, primarily in the western USA and adjacent Canadian provinces. They seem to work pretty well.

I just worry that people will judge the job "as done" and will overlook just exactly how devastating some development has been on the original inhabitants of these areas.

I've had people come into my law office to make an auto injury claim, only to find out that they had had their collision with a deer. I want to grab these fools by the lapels and ask them "are you supposing the whitetail's coverage will pay?" These idiots are at fault and they can't seem to grasp this.

If we continue to license imbeciles such as these to drive, what does that say about our potential as a species?

I think it mostly says that lots of dingbats are breeding and ending up in positions to influence everything.

A deer crossing made for moose. Because I'd never like to hit a moose at 60mph.

Those animal overpasses have been around for years.

I drive/ride underneath this one everytime I go to Missoula for the last 5 years. A complete success and the only stretch that I can relax on the Harley. Much better than trying to avoid deer, elk, moose and bear. IMG_4792.JPG
