Have you ever noticed how often someone will post a specific question, and then the responses are unrelated?
"I'm really considering a set of Bardens for my Tele and am interested in comments about how they sound", and the answers will be things like "I have never used Bardens, but I hear he's out of business", or "Get some Fralins!"...Sometimes the responses are so unrelated to the question it's almost funny.

I think Swamp Ash is best

Yes, You definitely get unrelated answers, sometimes the unrelated answers have more replies than the original post. I don't think that it has anything to do with this site though, I see it all over the internet.

I liked the one where some-one asked for recommendations for what compressor to buy and got two great, detailed replies; one about effects unit compressors and one about spray equipment compressors.

    GREAT POST!!!

I've learned a ton of stuff here, so far. I think I'm leaning toward nitro - it will give the best vibe and the mojo is built in.

At least whenever someone asks about dating a guitar, no one comes back with "Bring flowers and candy". That was a pretty regular response here for a long time.

    Wait a second, there...

None of those guys were originally in that band, and if you look closely at the album cover, that's clearly not a chicken.

Besides, Cornish game hens are better (gotta mic them up, though).

    Cheers, Tim

As long as we are talking about the Olympics I just wanted to say that I am in madly in love with olympic beach volley ball player Kerri Walsh. Does anyone here know her?

The beach was nice today. My daughter was in a surf contest as well.

    Who has the pancakes?

I don't care what anyone says...

    Bruce Springsteen's famous Esquire is a '57, '58, or early-'59...definitely not a '53.

Off-topic: Suddenly, I feel like going to the IHOP tonight.

What? You mean I'm going about it all wrong? Darn! This dating is tough! My wife told me so! No wonder all those guitars just ignored me! I mean, ..................oooohh, look! A bunny! With a pancake on its head! Yummmmm! What was I saying? Oh yeah, I like Dunlop Cry-Baby Wah's too!

    Where is the closest IHOP?

    Good Topic Fenderfan...

... I didn't know Fender ever made fans. Is yours an original or a re-issue? I suppose that the Japanese-made ones are probably better than the MIA ones because fans have historically been more associated with Japan. ;) - bj

One time, I was in Florida, and we got six people into that little car that Davis rented. And then Rich threw up in the hotel room, but that's okay 'cause I stayed in Vikki's room instead.

    I like Telecasters.
