First Half: Chris Bartel worked as a security officer and spent time on Skinwalker Ranch. His photography of the ranch will be on display at the University of Maryland Art Gallery. Chris, along with Taras W. Matla from the gallery will join George Knapp to discuss not just the exhibit but the experiences Chris had when working on the ranch.

believe it or not, it's food for thought

    How to spot dumb rhetoric.

Second Half: Establishment scientists are trying to tell us that there is no reality beyond the physical. This has not been proved scientifically,

    Asking for probatio diabolica.

And that's a huge problem in modern public rhetoric, burden of proof inversion.

I think I could go Christoph Waltz on Diane Kruger inglorious basterd style for this.

Seriously we're more than 2000 years After cicero, and people still use sophism pretending using syllogism.

Anything that contains woo-woo music and X-Files-like images is not science. It's strictly for entertainment purposes.

Everyone (everyone these days) has a camera with them at all times that will capture ultra-high quality stills and video, and yet the best thing people can produce is blurry imagery of aliens, flying saucers and bigfoots (bigfeet?).

    Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

    Bigfits?

Either way—I don’t believe in ghosts because they don’t believe in me!

Forensics rule number one: You cannot prove a negative. Any high school debate team member knows that.

Dang you! Peegoo , that one gets me every time!

I also agree with your assessment

I trust in science but am also agnostic in a way, I may not believe but I’m sure as heck not gonna do anything to spurn it on

This. ^ I believe. If you don't, fine with me. I have no desire to change how YOU live your life or put you in prison or harm you in any way.

I've had experiences I can't find reasonable explanations for. I don't really believe in ghosts, or at least, I don't think I do.

I like the way Michael Scott from the US version of The Office said it:

"I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious."

My wife maintained at the time she saw an apparition, because when I chased it into another room, there was only one door into the room, and one window locked from the inside, it was actually a bathroom. I didn't see it, I was only following instructions to get the old lady who went into the bathroom. It upset her so badly at the time we had to pack up and go home to California from Oklahoma in the wee hours of the morning before daylight. As time went by, my wife being a practical woman started to forget the incident until now she's just about forgotten the whole thing, and mutters oh, pshaw go on now, when I bring it up.

We have a 175 yr old farmhouse in the mtns. A farmhand up on the mtn died when a tree fell on him during a storm. He lives in the attic now---most everybody in the family has seen him. No joke...

Well, after 20 minutes, all I could think was
where.jpg There was nothing here. I was in hope the interview would have the interest I've heard back during Art Bell's interviews.

Well if I were a ghost I would find better places to hang out than dark attics and cold basements.
