    I admired Waylon at the time but have grown to really appreciate his talent.

    I don't think Waylon so much wrote songs, rather just sang about life as he knew it.
    I miss him.

    Wow thanks for posting that. I've never really sat and watched him play like that. Interesting style. I love his music - I remember my Dad's Waylon 8-tracks in a player bolted to the transmission hump in the middle of his truck in the 70s. My first intro to country.
