The backing track is an edited version of one someone posted here for the Backing Track challenges a while ago. For some reason I kept a bit of a fascination with the tune.'66 Telecaster, DvMark Evo 1 amp.

Super cover Carl. Love that tone and the delay is very sweet. Nice!

It's hard to beleive that it's been 50 years since I last played that song. See what you can do with "Hot Cha" from the same period.

Yeah, it's a good tune, and you play it well.

    Hi.

    Ace.

And besides the cool playing, it's also great to hear something on YouTube that just sounds well recorded.

Ha, I just watched The Weight and some others. Seems this level of excellence is quite consistent.

Right, I'm off to sulk in the corner now, maybe see if I can finally strum an F... :(

Nice, brings back old memories; used to play it in my last group many moons ago; line up: 2 saxes, organ, me on lead guitar, our singing bass player and a drummer of course.

Thanks for watching/listening and taking the time to comment everyone. Like many others here I've gone from to doing several gigs a week for last 40 or so years to nothing at all for well over seven months now, due to the Covid thing. It's been surprising to me how little I've played despite being more or less locked down and having plenty of time - it's a motivation thing I guess. Doing the occasional thing like this gives me a reason to get off my backside and play a bit.
