Warmoth build thread: Motarr no12 Telecaster

    I'm building my new guitar, a parts caster. A roasted alder thinline with a rosewood over birdseye maple neck. Warmoth parts. I'm spraying it olympic white (Dupont original) with nitro spray cans. Waterslide decal my own design label. Clearcoat nitro over the label and a lot of sanding, spraying, sanding, spraying to get de decal to disappear into the finish. Lefty body, righty neck. Going for a Dusty Hill kind of vibe.

    These are the first pics. After six thin coats of paint, I'm really happy with the outcome. I'll let the pain cure for a week at least. Before wet sandig.

    Will post more here when we get further down the project…

    Some tuner fun yesterday. Oddly the vintage speced Warmoth tuner holes did not match the vintage speced Fender tuner bushings. So I had to use a fair amount of the old round file. I got them in correct size at last. Snug fit for sure, but not a head cracking snug fit.
