Want to have standard tele positions with series option. Either using fender 5 way or push pull.

Alright so I have a standard fender 5 way switch and an extra 250k push pull pot laying around for this. Whichever is easier to accomplish. Almost all the diagrams I'm finding are for 4 way switches or two push pull pots for both series and parallel. I don't mind additional options besides the standard tele positions but have the pickups in series is a must. The only 5 way diagrams I can find are for the Bill Lawrence/Shoop and super switches.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Look up Anderton 5way Tele mod. Uses a standard 5way switch.1 Bridge, 2 bridge and neck parallel, 3 neck, 4 neck w/cap, 5 neck and bridge in series. I also added a push pull on one of the pots for half out of phase. Very versatile

So, this is different than the Deaf Eddie mod. With the Deaf Eddie mod when you engage the p/p it goes to series no matter where you have the 3way.

Just grab a Schaller Megaswitch M & you got your 5- way with 3 standard positions, a series, and an out of phase. Standard on my builds.

The Schaller is more or less the equivalent of using a super switch, which I thought the OP said he did not want to do.
