My local music store owner let me bring one home to try before I buy and I think this delay is fantastic. I really flies under the radar for some reason...never hear too much about it. Now I'm kicking my self for not buying one when GC was blowing them out.

It's very well made and feature rich...modern and vintage modes, tap tempo. Does anyone have experience with this pedal? Seems well worth $149.99...and maybe I can knock off a bit to pay cash.

My post was brief... I'll elaborate since you asked...
pros=great sound, minimal controls, seemingly quality build, great range, relatively quiet, mij, tap tempo, cool color, chicken head knobs, etc....
cons=takes up space, sorta' difficult to dial in subdivisions on the fly, although the sound was great, it was on the dark side, ummm... can't really think of other cons :)
I really think I could overcome the subdivision con now, as I am much better at hearing the taps on the fly... so after some use, maybe just two cons... not bad...
btw, I have wished more than once I had it back...

I guess because the Vox Satchurator Distortion pedal was a flop and it gave a wrong impression with their other models? I bought this to my buddy and it really is one heck of a trebly pedal... MORE switch does'n't do much actually as well as the PAN.

I think I'm going to keep this pedal...I think it's one of the nicer delays I've used.

I currently have the Vox Timemachine, it is a great delay, very user friendly as long as your tap tempo foot is accurate. It has beat out: TC Nova Repeater (close here), TC Flashback, boss dd3/dd6, Trex Replica (one trick pony), digidelay, memory boy. I like it because it is designed to handle all the gain you want to throw into the pedal with minimal clipping (hence why the repeater is off the board) my only issue is the non true stereo, but since I don't use pingpong often (this does not do it anyway), this running into a stereo pan/volume pedal splits it to both amps.

The more I use it, the more I like it. I wish the modern/vintage and the hi fi/lo fi features were a bit more obvious, but the only other thing that would hit my wishlist for this pedal would be adjustable modulation.

I read quite a few posts throughout the internet about the tap tempo resetting on its own after a short while. Have you experienced this?

I like my Satchurator. I would like to try the OD and delay as well.

I tried the Ice 9...wasn't super impressed. The vintage mode was nice, but the modern mode seemed like a waste for me. I thought it would be a higher gain mode, but it simply seemed brighter and less compressed. I did like it though...but I walked out with the T-Rex Yellow Drive.

I had one and liked it... but I didn't make the best use of it (was a noob). I traded it in for a flashback x4 (along with a boss rc-20xl) and am very happy with the x4, however you can get way tripier delay sounds out of the vox which is not something I need but was kinda cool when I had it. 149 seems steep I bought mine for 90 two years ago and I think ebay sells them round 80 now.

149.00 seems to be the going price new. I don't mind since it's supporting a local business with nice people. Last trip to GC, I was being helped by a kid who reeked like he was just smoking pot on his break. Lol...not a problem to me but do it on your own time.

My favorite Vox pedal is the Over the Top Boost... on most of the time... big, unsightly, childish graphics, and maybe in a sales-pitch-play utilizes a tube, but, I still dig it. Again, hope I didn't give a bad impression of the TM, I liked mine, it just didn't do what I wanted at the time... cool pedals.

Thats good... There is a local music shop I like to support, Mass Street Music (it has a lot cooler stuff than gc too), but sometimes I just don't have the dough if there is a big price difference. However supporting local businesses is awsome and we should all do our best to do so... I live in Kansas City and there are hardly any local guitar stores anywhere.

These guys always give me a break...let me take stuff home...just very accommodating...I've been going there for years and my son takes trumpet lessons there now. I try to support them when I can...good people.
