Vox Pathfinder 15r serial number date?

Is there any way to get the manufacture date from a Pathfinder serial number? Just curious.

Mine is 6 digits and starts with 014. Does that make it a 2001? Thanks!

My question is how much difference in amp and worth is a 15R VS non reverb 15 Pathfinder. The sound the same to me limited differnt times I have plugged into either. Less limited 15R time...
