$400+ for a used 15R? Lol, it's an okay little SS amp, but it's not the holy grail of anything. $125 in exc. condition would be my ceiling

Just out of curiosity I looked online at a few of the major dealers websites with the $411.95 that was mentioned above.

Pretty interesting all the very good small amps available for the princely sum, even at everyday retail prices.

I've heard rumor as well that these new amps come with a warranty.

    That's a very logical approach

The challenge isn't making the amp, it's selling it for $125 and turning a profit.

If you have an existing relationship with a factory, let me know, I'll order serial # 0000001

What about the Pathfinder 10 with reverb and trem pedals?

I had a Pathfinder, and I liked it well enough. I thought it sounded pretty good, but a bit of a toy, in my opinion.

$400 for one of these amps is insane. I thought the $119 I paid new was a stretch. I gave mine away to a friend.

I also have three. I have used them for hundreds of rehearsals and gigs. I couldn't imagine a better fit for what I do.

    Six month ago I bought a PF 15 R with a broken input for 60€ and a PF 15 (non R) for 40 €.

If you wait a bit you can still find them for a reasonable price

Just picked up a 15R for 110$ Canadian in a pawnshop. It had been on the floor 1 whole hour. Opportunity knocks, you open the door...

Larger amps are in the basement, but my practice rig is a few pedals
through either a P15r or my Philco--> Champ build. The Vox probably
gets more use. $50 off Craigslist about ~10 years ago..! Love it.

I have been trolling for another one off and on, but the prices really
    do keep going up.

The price doubles from retail every 10 years haven't you been following prices?

Someone beat me to it suggesting the MSB. I would also recommend the awesome little MV50 heads with your choice of cab. The store I worked at had them, and, IMO, the MV50AC was the standout of the bunch, sounding just like a real AC30 to me. I wasn't as enamored of the Rock and other high gain ones. The Clean one was also good, but I still liked the AC one more. I haven't tried the Boutique one, because it's newer, so we didn't have it. I might add that the matching 112 cab sounds way better than the 1x8" one.

I have had my Pathfinder 15 (non-reverb) listed locally for $80 and have had next to zero responses to my ads.

I have four of them, I paid 100 for the last one on craigslist. I think you have to watch craigslist.

John, I bet I've seen each of the CL ones you've bought. When I run
specific searches the Chicago CL shows me listings in your area..!

I think this amp is over-rated. I had one and it was a good little amp, but nothing approaching the hype that surrounds it. There are many good small practice amps available, including many great small SS and modeling amps from all the major players, at less than $200 new, and even less for used ones.

I have one that I bought way back when they were relatively new. About a week after I got it, I plugged it into a 12" cab, and it's been that way ever since. I'd guess that the original speaker has no more than 6 hours on it. I never use it anymore; it's my guest amp for whoever may be visiting. I still like the Pathfinder. These amps are nicer than Vox thought they were, but not quite as awesome as people have hyped them to be.
No supply + major hype = crazy prices.
