Judging by looks alone, and assuming that the black Tele had binding ( looks like it?), I'd choose the black one.
Now, realistically, I'd probably keep for the lightest (weight) one!

The 2021 ultra has to be the first to go. My preference, of course ;). It’s just unremarkable to me and I don’t love those noiseless pickups either. I would not be able to part with the BSB or the sparkle :)

Keep the silver sparkle 2001. You will regret selling that one, as you won’t be able to replace it. Not only does it look fantastic, those have really great necks. How do I know? I have the exact model (from the 200). I’ve had lots of Telecasters, but I like this one best. It plays great, sounds fantastic, and looks awesome. Mine isn’t going anywhere soon.

I'd for sure keep the butterscotch AV Hot Rod.

If you’re asking us then sell all 3 and find a really great tele, one that’s obvious you should keep it

Went to a show last night and the rhythm guitarist was playing a sparkle..had to look away..keep the butterscotch, lose the ashtray, install a one-ply black pickguard and play the you-know-what out of it.

    Or not..

    .

Keep the Ultra and install a 4-way switch to put both pickups in series humbucking mode.

Better yet ... buy a new/used Player Series Tele to install the 4-way and then sell the other three.

I like the Ultra neck best. 10-14” compound radius, tinted, satin back. The Deep U neck, 9.5” radius on the vintage hot Rod is great too. Beats the modern c of the sparkle. All have medium jumbo frets.

Ya, I just have the ashtray for looks and pop it off when I play it. I have the one ply pickguard in the case for when I get tired of the abbey road vinyl record guard.

The silver sparkle actually has the 4-way switch. It came like that stock. The Ultra has the S-1 switch for series mode.

Did you mean the Silver Sparkle or were you referring to the Les Paul that you can barely see in the photo?

Maybe put two in cases for three months and if you’re still happy with the one you kept out, THEN you sell them.

If, after three months, you think you might have preferred keeping one of the other two, swap them out and wait three more months.

If at that point you’re not totally sure you made the right decision, swap again and wait three months. At this point you should have a good idea which is your least favorite and you can sell that one for sure.

Make sure you keep your eyes open for a good deal on a G&L ASAT. It’s LIKE a Telecaster, but it’s not exactly a Telecaster, so you wouldn’t be breaking your own rule.

To me, if you can’t decide, none are a true # 1 worthy of ditching the other 2.
I’d go to the nearest guitar shop and play every Tele in the place. If you find the one, make a big trade.

By looks and the way it's laid out I like #2. The Designer Edition. All Tele with a modern vibe going on.
