The last one looks like a chihuahua is peaking out from under the middle pickup

    So number 3

    .

The middle red guard but only if the red on the pickguard matches red tones in the body (red band and red-browns of the burst) and the fretboard shades. If they are different shades of red such a match can look like the red-green holiday colors that are only ok together once a year. If white pickguard covers you'll need to match those to the light color of the pickguard, or just go with all black covers and knobs. Take the guitar out in full sunlight so you don't get any interior lights or decor re-coloring what the guitar looks like.

If the reds mismatch too much then go with the third pickguard.

Have your wife and if you have daughters in the house have them double check the match before you hit the order button.

    Number one... Classy.

Number two would get lost on a sunburst, I think.

    Number three, I, uh...

I normally can't stand paisley, but for some reason I love the idea of that red one on a sunburst. I say that or the cream paisley if you want to be a little more tame. The mosaic is a bit far out for me, but don't let that stop you dude.

I like all three, but a three color burst is already pretty busy, so #1 would look the best. #2 and #3 would look fantastic on a single color body.

A rattle can job over the burst with #3 would catch the most attention.:D Okay, I'll try to not let the door hit me on the way out.

Mosaic with a matching (or complimenting) strap.

Have to say that I was really happy to see that the Tort brigade sent a representative to this meeting.

Already got the ladies involved. Wife likes the cream paisley, youngest daughter (almost 10) only liked the ones I found with cats on them. Middle daughter (almost 16) asked if there was a rainbow or tie-dye option.

I think they're all too busy for a sunburst guitar. Of course, I like boring - look at my avatar.

That said, if you're gonna go loud, better to go all the way - #3.

Red/cream. I’ve always been partial to “miss chief”.
