So I’ve been using a Gator Cases pedal board for years. It has a power supply on the underside. It finally stopped working and I bought a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power plus 2. I almost went with the $50 Donner unregulated one.
Happy to report that the new VL unit is great. It feels like all of my old stompies have been reborn. No noises, buzzes, hums or any other unmentionables. Really can’t believe how much better my tone is. I hadn’t bonded with my Fulltone ocd but now it’s sounding great.
    Money well spent!

Voodoo Labs' products are top-notch, for sure. I use the Pedal Power II with their Dingbat Pedalboard in my current setup. I love it!

I haven’t even tried the options like SAG voltage (drops voltage down to 4v I think) or the 12v or 18v settings yet. Honestly didn’t realize the old power supply was so dang noisy. Totally digging this thing.

I bought a Pedal Power 2 Plus nine years ago and totally take it for granted ever since. Even the cables still work fine. One of those unsung pieces of gear that just work.

For some reason I got less noise with a Godlyke Power-All and sold my voodoo labs.

There were similar products when I was shopping for a pedal power supply.

I went with Voodoo Lab based on a customer service experience with one of their tremolo pedals.

Mine crapped out years after the warranty ran out. Not only did they fix it for free, but they covered shipping too.

It gave me great confidence they’d also stand behind their power supply.

It’s the only piece of gear I never have to think about.

I'm still using the original Pedal Power model I bought 21 years ago! Never a hiccup. One of these days I'll get a newer model since the original doesn't handle high-current pedals.

Nothing can beat a well-built power supply with isolated ports. A must if you want to have a mix of analog and digital pedals.
