Does anyone know if you can buy a volume knob that has numbers on it for A Telecaster?
Maybe an amb knob like Muddy used?
or do you mean a Strat knob, or some other?
personally, I like the amp-knob look.
Did you mean a amp knob?
Will they fit? What type.
Yeah, amp, my bad...
no one's fingers are THAT fat.
Amp knobs often have a tiny screw to hold them in place.
If you look them over at GC, or even Radio Shack you'll probably have no trouble finding them.
Any old Fender Amp knob...same 1/4" shaft as a Tele.
guitar parts resource sells them
I love orange guitars so much! That pic is like cheesecake for me.
Yes, all the above.
But if you are seeking a solution to the "mystery setting" aspect of stock Tele knobs, just index the set screw in your line of sight when the knob is on 10.
I bought traditional Tele knobs with an indented dot marker. I use the dot position to determine my settings. By the way, that's a cool looking orange Tele posted by middy
These are not numbered but I used J bass knobs that have a white line on them.
The one Melle posted is pretty nice too
I'm not meaning to hijack but Melle what's the story behind this Tele and where did you get this shade of orange? As long as I'm asking, what shade of orange is this? Candy Tangerine?
That's what I do on my tele's.
Same here, using the set screw to visualize position.
Love the orange Tele, and those P-Bass knobs on the gold one look killer!
DF...it's called Capri Orange (Not a Fender color)..here's the Specs on the build, and 2 more Pics.....Tony
