Hello!

My Twin's serial number is: 047944 and on the transformer I read: 606-4-29

So according to reliable sources it is made in 1964. Is it correct?
But here comes my first question: There is a push/pull on the master volume (and there is a master volume). So normally it should be from the seventies, not the sixties? Anyone can help with an explanation? I've read everywhere that the push/pull has been added after 1975.

My second question: I need to put back the grid cloth. Which color is it? Is it blue or turquoise?

You have a mid-'70's TR. The '4' in the tranny number could be '64 04 '74....
The push/pull and the cloth tell you that it is not a '64. The face panel is silver, correct?

So, the serial numbers in JJ's post say it is a BFTR. Interesting.
Orni, what color if the face panel...black or silver? If it is silver, then the serial number thing is curious. If it is black, then someone has added the push/pull master volume to a BF circuit, I suppose.
If you do have a BFTR that has been modded, I would do more than just regrille the baffleboard. I would take it back to BF specs andmaybe replace the front panel with a fresh BF. If this is the case, the cloth should be black and silver....no colored threads at all.

The front panel is silver, Wally.
Big White, there is no letter before the number. It is an unusual number, or I'm unable to find the right place?

Orni, That is not your serial number...

Look on the back of the amp chassis on the right side , to the right of where the reverb and footswitch cables plug in and the serial number is stamped in the metal chassis.

Okay, thanks its clearer. A97465. It's a 75, so the push/pull is not a mod.

For the cloth, which one is the right color? Grey or blue?
