I have a set of Rutters 50s compensated steel saddles on my bender; he'd probably sell a single.

One thing I've found on some benders is, if there is not enough of an angle from the saddle to the where the string anchors, it can have that effect on the sound. Both of my benders have fairly steep angles. I have a standard G&L bridge on my Asat Special and a Glendale with brass compensated barrels.

I have those same saddles but in steel on my Hipshot. The B string sounds the same as the other unwound strings (it didn't with brass) and it no longer eats the saddle.
They are a tad brighter but I run a smaller than stock tone capasitor value and just roll the tone down a bit.

I put some AllParts titanium saddles on my avatar guitar.
    I replaced all three.
I have not experienced B sting “saw through” since.

I'm not sure how I would get the angle steeper. I pushed the string down to the bottom of the bender hub under tension, as low as it will go. It didn't help. If the issue I'm having is caused by "saw-through" it seems like this could even make the problem worse.

I've ordered a set of those in steel. The Rutters look nice, but I like that these are the same design as the brass saddles I already have. I like the design of them. I'll report back!

I have used the Fender 70's style saddle on my Parsons/White for years. (Fender part # 0007698000)

I just use the one saddle for the B and E string and leave the other two brass ones.

eye had brass saddles on a 3 saddle bridge when eye installed a hipshot b-bender [like the fender one bur black] and the b string wore a groove it the brass saddle , had to swap in a steel one for the high-e/b string saddle,it's ok now
