I used to wear Levi 505 jeans all the time. A few years ago they changed the cut. More like hip-huggers, now, IMHO. I hate it. I keep waiting for them to change back but they have not. Sometimes I hate getting old...

I buy most of my clothes from thrift stores, and that includes jeans.
I'm digging the skinny jeans that have hit those places. MUCH more than the old "relaxed fit" (fat) jeans

    it's like it's 1982 again

Narcissist here. Try 513s and 511s, but maybe it's us, not the jeans.

I am still a Hellmann's, Heinz, Fender, and Boar's Head cold cut snob. But I went with Wrangler jeans when Levi's got too complicated.

I have a 25 year old Levi jacket. I hardly ever get to wear it now. Both my daughters love it and refer to it as the family jacket. One's just gone down the pub now with it on.

I used to wear 501s... and I made them slim fit by sewing inside the beam... Still have a couple of pairs with 20 years. Then I used some girl's jeans. No men tight jeans here in spain until a few years ago

And now I use cheap tight jeans. The levis of today last one year before having them totally "relic" and broken, so I buy a cheap one and save some money for beer or strings or whatever

And I have a pair of 519 for gigs

Levis makes countless styles now and they discontinue them ad hoc and sometimes aren't even consistent with the style number and the style of jean that is associated with the style number. It is a process to find the right fit now. And nothing looks worse than skinny jeans on someone that shouldn't be wearing them, IMHO.

Have you ever looked at the Levi's website? The offer exact reproductions of many of their older models. It is really quite interesting. I never knew there were so many different versions of "blue jeans".

Yes, I've looked at their "vintage" jeans. But they never have them in stock in anything remotely close to my size.

    I’ve worn em’ since 1969.
I don’t know what my favorites are now, but I wore 501’s forever.
