What do we think of this semi Strat semi Blackguard model? Personally I'm impressed at the price point and the imagination, but it's not something I'd really want for myself:

I've never heard of Joe Doe, the rest of the range is interesting too but a little bit cheesy with the made up stories and comical spec sheets. Very interested to know how the hidden humbucker works on the kind of Equire ish model though:

This is probably the model I'd be most interested in, but I have a Fret King Thinline already and I'd guess they're very similar:

I've seen like a 3000 dollar custom shop version of the Strat/Tele, I love the concept and I like that this one is affordable. And I like the ovoid guard Tele as well, very retro, midcentury modern. The cactus F hole is cute. The stories are a bit much but then you can just ignore them I guess.

The Strat/Tele is too Strat for me. Tele bridge plate required. Also, I don’t much like the decor on that one. The cactus sound hole is a nice idea, as well as the pickguard on that one.

Agreed! Needs more Tele and less Strat, I'd like to check one out though as they look kind of fun.

A quick Google shows there is NO ONE by the name of Joe Doe with a musical background. I suspect this is a fictional/mythical/market ploy to create interest in a product. Can't sell your guitar legitimately????....just create a "legend" around it. ;)

Oh, let’s not start that again... ;)
