Vintage Fender Strap

So, I’ve already seen some threads that talked about this, but still not sure. I know they come with a Fender logo on the buckle from about the mid ‘60s, right?

From when might this Fender strap be, do you think?

Mid 60s to early/mid 70s usually had a square buckle with “Fender” and an anchor stamp on the back, and a felt pad that’s normally torn or encountered hungry insects in its life. Also, I’ve only seen black ones of those. You got some with Fender stamped on the leather but not seen one with those middle slots on the pad… I’ve only seen them with slots for the thin strap either end. Searching isn’t showing up a similar picture.

I am no strap expert, but judging by the nice white stiching and lack of any staining on the leather, it may not be very old at all. Or lived in a case all of its life.

I have one with a square buckle that’s kinda like you described.

I’m no expert on straps, myself! Found this at a thrift store for 3€, so never actually thought it was all that old, but worth the question nonetheless.
