    I couldn't find one of the back yard quickly, here at work, at lunch, but I found a Front yard pic, taken through our kitchen window.

    Loving these, the view from ours is the back of a house that looks a lot like ours :(

    Some more looking up from the ol' Backyard...

    Doesn't look like much, but this is Jupiter and I caught the 4 Galilean moons - Io, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa

    IMG_0232.JPG

    Some of the Rosette Nebula. About 5000 light years away. This was a tough target.

    Blue Moon (there's a song in that)

    I'll bet you know this one already... Saturn is very far away, and this is about as good as it gets without observatory level optics :oops:

    The house from the garden taken last July;

    and the view from the house;

    We used to have mature trees all around the boundaries giving us privacy, but subsidence in the old conservatory meant that they had to go. The new conservatory (courtesy of the insurance company) makes up for it a little.

    We built our house over the past year.
    Here’s the backyard last July just before construction started.

    Poor little Peanut can’t wait for grass to be planted. The hose is laying out to outline where the patio will be.

    Views into the front courtyard

    [IMG]

    the race is ON!
    [IMG]

    The front courtyard is about 1/2 paved and 1/2 landscape... totally secured with 8'-10' walls, which is good for the pups and also completely "privatizes" the entire front of the house, which we like.

    The "front door" to the house has become the front doors to the courtyard. Ring Video/Camera Doorbell makes this quite workable.

    That's a great area. I always loved the westward view over the river toward Marsing, especially when it was all farmland.
