Is that a model B in the background? Or maybe a 60?

It's a 60. My dad and grandad bought it slightly used in 1956. Still runs.

I spent quite a bit of time on one of those as a youngster. Backing a loaded hay wagon into the top of a bank barn was a bit of a challenge.

I see your point Mike, but it honestly wasn't intended that way.

I thought in some way it might make the community a little closer, sharing what we experience everyday.

This song and Dhart's photo kept going through my head.

It's still very much a work in progress. There was nothing in the corner and side yard.

I grew up in the TUS and get back when I can. The light there is its own species!

Speaking of species, this is a shot I took pulling up to my mom's place last year. 20180212_084034.jpg

Before retiring, we sold our home, and bought a modest home of 1773 square feet with a small, but quite livable lot. The front and back yards were bare when we moved in save for lawns. Though small it is quite cozy, and pleasant to sit outside in the evening, and enjoy a glass of tea, and watch birds come by for a chat. I have always enjoyed yard work, and the small lot is just right for me to take care of.
