There was a video of the La's doing There She Goes, the lads were playing the song down the streets and alleys of Liverpool, but I can't find the video, the Ministry of Truth sent it down the memory hole. Anyone got a copy?

Thanks Wacolo but that is not it. The video I'm looking for was probably ten years earlier and in black and white if I remember right.

Because of some copyright claim by a French television station, the original 1989 video for the Rolling Stones' "I Can Almost Hear You Sigh" appears to be unavailable in the US. I've tried YouTube, and loads of the lesser video hosting sites, and...nada.

Most likely the same copyright stuff with this video. It was a good video too. ****ing lawyers suck.

One of my earliest memories (early 1980s) was seeing Pink Floyd's Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun on TV. I vaguely remember people walking across sand dunes. Not sure what version that was.

Was that the Live at Pompeii version?

Especially if you watch it after midnight, that film is trippy enough -- no drugs required!

Good guess, but no. Holy moly I actually found it. From about 6:12.

I seem to remember a young and unpolished Led Zeppelin on The Tonight Show.

This version has gravitas. Dion's didn't:
