Very well done, and you brought I-gor into it too!!! I'm not a Muff fan, but I can certainly appreciate now why so many people like this pedal-best part is $99 is very reasonable...

Seeing as how you're somewhat of an expert on how things are put together, Frank, what's the build quality like? All nice and solid, or does it rattle around like I-gor's eyes? Inquiring minds (as opposed to acquired minds) want to know...

Thanks again for a stellar review!! You might have a future in this, ya know...

Build quality: It looks pretty slick inside there (there's a still photo of the inside in the middle of the review). I will say that I was surprised that there are two separate circuit boards in there attached by braided wires and one (the one that's not directly connected to the pots) is just kind of floating. But it doesn't rattle!

I presume that's how they manage to cram it all into a small pedal enclosure, rather than the vintage or even current Big Muff size. The cabling in there is nice, the box is heavy and metal. It's "hand made" based on their website. I'm honestly not sure how they can price them at $99 and make anything, but I guess they are working on small margins.
