Hello. Had a chance to buy a 2009 52 avri tele cheap, cause it is slightly modified. Luckily seller provided pictures of neck and pocket, so dates match within a few days. But was unsure of the neck pocket. it has the correct "18354" stamp. But never seen the QC stamp Barduno or something like that. Anyone seen this stamp before?

Looks like the real deal to me. Forget the wood worker's stamp - the date and the "18354" stamps make it legit.

Thanks for answer! Appreciate it. Yeah, was just wondering if anyone recognized the name of the woodworker, to further strengthen the authenticity. On the neck it says " J. Velasco", and its been documented here before he worked on the USA plants with reissues etc. Plus the dates match very well. So I am 99% sure at this point.

Problem was earlier owner started a rather poor relic job by himself. Next owner wanted it reversed again, so he sanded it down, and had it repainted with nitro lacquer. But also took off the bridge plate with serial number, and switched out the original pups for a set of Lollar T52. Never tried those, but heard good stuff. Anyway, I got it cheap cause of all the workover, and it will scratch my need for a good tele :)
