They will soon model the Velcro too. When you change presets for buttons, it will make the Velcro tearing sound.

How are you guys getting your velcro to stick so well? even if I prep the area, velcro always seems to come off of the pedal. Sometimes I resort to a dab of superglue to keep it stuck.

Did you perhaps sell a pedal to @ficelles ? That might explain a few things

My board is designed for and made velcro installed. All my pedals have dual lock on them the way god intended.

I do the small triangle thing so that I can remove the pedals.

Goof-Off removes adhesive residue without damaging paint or powder coating.

So does naptha. (lighter fluid) You can also use it on varnish and lacquer finish with no ill effects. See what I did there?

I dumped velcro years ago. I use links of bicycle chain. you have to take the temper out if you want to bend them. sorry, you'll have to clic on the pic to see it better

My first pedalboard was incredibly DIY and made from a Tupperware knockoff. To secure the pedals I drilled holes in the lid matching the bolts holding the bottom onto each pedal, then used slightly longer bolts to bolt the pedals right to the lid. Those pedals weren't going anywhere. It was the only pedalboard I ever owned where I could hold it upside down and shake the board violently and nothing moved. Granted, it wasn't the easiest to modify.

I use velcro to attach my causeway tag to the inside of my windshield. I find the hook-and-loop part to be much stronger than the glue itself, which can't hold up to SE Louisiana heat. Especially inside a car. You pull the tag off the windshield, and the velcro on the windshield pulls off and sticks to the tag.

I understand the Causeway Commision is coming up with a new system.

Nothing stands up to Louisiana heat lol. Not even our inspection stickers

Velcro is pretty much as good as it gets. The whole bottom of my covered with it. Years ago I even bought these over priced plastic things to go around my vintage Boss pedals so I could put Velcro on them (my CS-2 and DM-2 for example), way before they reissued a bunch of those (no CS-2 reissue though and probably never will be).
