I bought this one last week : "Three chords and the truth", the latest Van Morrison album... His sixth release in four years! It may seems too much at that point, but... nay!
This one is a gem : only original/new songs this time, and great ones! Keep it coming, Van!

I've heard it. Aside from a few gems, I wasn't impressed and I'm a fan of Van.

Seemed like a lot of filler (we gotta make this album by (insert date) so let's do it.

Well, that's the feeling (speaking of filler songs) I had with some of his recent string of albums (Versatile and You're Driving Me Crazy, most notably), but this time I found a moving beauty and simplicity I hadn't heard for some time on the course of a whole album.
