I got the mod also. I didn’t like at first, took a while for my ears to adjust. Now I love it- there’s this incredible response, transparency, and bottom end. Tele players dream through a fender amp !

Judging from the concept the bd2 was made to simulate an overdriven Fender tube amp. This is was later what Catalinbread called an Fundation pedal like their RAH pedal (hiwatt amp) or their Dirty Little Secret (Marshall amp). These work best as last pedal before a clean amp.
