We were there 6 years ago, and after driving down a county two-lane and seeing the 200th or so mailbox next to a rusty gate/2 mile long driveway, and no visible house , I turned to my wife and said

“There’s weird stuff happening here. Stuff that we don’t want to know about...”

Well hidden in a National Park for about a half century. Great place to get away and make some art.

 

Going to start getting fed up with this thing being described as a monolith. Language is important, and the roots of language (in this case Greek) are being forgotten.
