The Marvel movies are always good. Gotta start gearing up for Avengers 2. That said, I am nerdraged that we have a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but no Dr. Strange yet, or another Incredible Hulk (I liked the Ed Norton one).

Man of Steel looks cool. It would be nice to have just one good Superman movie (I think even the first one sucked).

    Star Trek oughtta be good.

The X-Men movies... meh. Not a fan.

I'll check out the new Spider-Man, just because he was my favorite when I was a kid, but I don't have high hopes for this one.

I've always felt that Marvel dropped the ball with the X-Men franchise by never giving Cyclops his due. Scott always seemed emotionally weak, and he was easily rendered useless in any kind of combat. Then, they simply killed him.
The creative teams decided that Wolverine was going to be the focus, and yet Cyclops was the definite leader in the comics. I'm hoping that this time-travel reboot will allow the writers to bring Cyclops back and put him in his proper place as leader of the team.

Can't believe they wont make another HULK yet. Like Ralph Garmin said: something to the affect of 'They could have the HULK eating a sandwich and they would make money off it.'

Not to mention Mark Ruffalo took the HULK to another level.

Not to thread jack but maybe they aren't making another HULK simply to prove that they aren't only in it for the money.

wait.. what am I talking about, large movie corporation doesn't care about that. we'll see

X-Men: First Class was a killer movie. I am a huge comic geek and I found that one to be the best of all the X-Men movies. I hope they use the " fastball special " in " Days of Future Past."

Yeah, I saw that one at the drive-in theater. The only reason I stayed was it was a double feature with Austin Powers, The Spy who Shagged me.

So true! There's so many good movies coming out in the future. I think we've reached an era in movie making where film makers have learned from their past mistakes and are now trying very hard to make good movies.

There were a lot of bad comic book movies in years gone by; Daredevil, Superman Returns, Green Lantern, Punisher, Spawn, Fantastic Four, X-Men The Last Stand, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Catwoman - the list goes on.

Now they're realizing that well done comic book movies are a really great cash grab, because if they're commercially successful then that will likely lead to sequels and more cash.

I remember seeing Godzilla (1998) in theatres with my dad when I was in 6th Grade. At the time I enjoyed it, but I watched it a few years ago and thought it was quite terrible. And it is, objectively, quite awful. Following with the current trend of redoing films and doing them well, I really hope that they go all out and make this new Godzilla totally badass!

I agree, I loved the newest X-Men film. I was disappointed when I heard they were returning to the original cast for the sequel. IMO, the old cast of X-Men were part of what was wrong with the first X-Men films. Going with a fresh start was what gave this movie its good vibe. Michael Fassbender was a fantastic Magneto, he was my favorite character in the film.

They dropped the ball when the movie X-Men weren't the original 5. Sure, Cyclops was the leader, but he was always weak and whiny. That's the Stan Lee thing of always having flaws. Annoying, though.
