When I was a kid, I first loved the Beatles.
The next band that caught my attention was Buffalo Springfield.
The first Beatle album I owned was HELP.
My next album was Buffalo Springfield Again.
I actually heard BS’s eponymous album before Again, but didn’t have the finances to buy it.
I was 12.
So, like with Sirs Paul & Ringo, I can’t give up on Neiler just yet.
He and Stephen Stills have a big place in my heart.
IMO, all these folks are huge faves of mine, have earned my respect, and learned a lot of music/ guitar playing, from them.
So my feeling ( informed now, by own aging, as I want to play forever...), is they can make music/tour/record as long as they want to, and we can choose to listen or not...but we don't get to tell them 'STOP!'
That's their call
