    -Strats are milquetoast.
-Brian Setzer cracks my top 5 all-time best, Hendrix doesn't.
    -Maple FBs are really ugly.
-The Gretsch "thumbnail" inlay is the best of all time (let's be honest, that's just a fact)
-If you're reading this, you're doing your vibrato wrong and you sound like you're 10 years old

Interesting that I never heard of any of them, except for Duesenberg. Are they genuine "manufacturers" in the enterprise sense of the word, or are they just luthier's shops?

    1. Taking a new guitar and relic-ing it seems as fake as milli vanilli.

    2. Beatles music is boring and so lo-fi that its hard to listen to.

    3. The 80's are over. Ibanez guitars should be recycled to make bird houses...at least the "shred guitars". Take Steve Vai with you.

    4. Blues guitar is over played. (Yes I play it)

    5. Opinions are like.....well you know the rest.

"You have to know the rules in order to break them" is a load of dogs eggs spouted by people who don't understand music is about connecting with people and not any other abstract notion they care to concoct in order to take ownership of it...there, I said it!!

Thank you for letting me get that off my chest:)

A reliced guitar is like a buck you killed in an enclosed area. It's a trophy you didn't earn.

-- Every musician should learn to read music in order to understand the metrical structure of music.
-- Roy Orbison's music gives me the creeps. David Lynch demonstrated this in Blue Velvet

    Flatwounds are usually best.

The species of wood used in electric instruments usually doesn't matter for sound (assuming it's not balsa or something the hardware can't be solidly attached to).

Agreed with the exception of a broken-in Delta Blues 115. Someone at Peavey screwed up with that one.

Thanks so much! She's my #1; I play her every week. I'd take this guitar over some vintage gem or a high end custom shop Fender any day. What can come closer to what you want and need than your own hot rod?

People who use vintage Fender amps don't understand real tone....grow up,smell the modern boutique roses.
