Unlikely flavor combination that's surprisingly good

Omelette and jam. Sounds disgusting but it's amazing!
According to my dad, it's a Dutch thing, but I'm not sure.

I put Indian Chili-Lime pickle on my PB sandwich. It's like hot sauce plus intense lime.

My conclusion from reading this thread is that everyone has some kind of food weirdness. My own isn't a combination, but this: like many, I probably couldn't survive without my morning coffee. Coffee at any other time of day is also a pleasure. Espresso after dinner? I often have two. However, I can't stand coffee-flavored anything else. I mean anything. Even iced coffee makes me want to hurl. Ahhhh...it feels good to finally be out!

How do you feel about eggs and olive oil otherwise?

One of the things I miss the most about being south of the border! There are street vendors walking around town selling chilled fruit salad with chili powder and lime on it (pineapples, strawberries, watermelon, etc all mixed up) I have tried making it at home but it just isn't the same.

    PDPML Sandwich.

    Peanut Butter
    Dill Pickle
    Mayonnaise
    Lettuce

Two slices of white bread, Peanut Butter on side A, Mayonnaise on side B
Dill Pickle slices, and can used "Stackers" which are pre-cut.
Iceburg lettuce, or something with a cool crunch.

This was a staple of mine, and I brought the recipe to college with me. The guys all thought I was crazy, disgusting, etc... Until the first one tried a bite. Then another... By the end of the month, the entire baseball team was packing these sweet/savory delites with them for pre/post game snacks.

Use Jif crunchy peanut butter, good mayonnaise, crisp dill pickles and fresh iceburg lettuce, and get ready fro your new favorite sandwich.
