Welcome.

You can use an amp-in-box pedal into an amp or into a DAW or into an app as long as the connectivity is compatible.

Look up "FRFR". They are "Full Range Flat Response" powered speakers.

FRFRs aim to be as neutral as possible, serving as nothing more than a blank canvas for the sounds produced by your modeling device. You can also plug directly into your DAW or a PA. They say you don't want to mic a FRFR the same way you mic an guitar amp's speaker since the Dream and the Iridium are already simulating a speaker cab.

You can use the Iridium with an amp, you just need to disengage the IR. Having the IR engaged is when you should use it into a PA, or an interface. The same thing goes with the Dream.

To my way of thinking, the Iridium and Dream 65 are both meant for the same thing: direct performing into an interface of a computer DAW for recording or direct into a PA or FRFR powered speaker. Can they be used into a guitar amp? Sure, but that's not intended purpose for either the Iridium or Dream 65 IMO.
I've never played my Iridium through a guitar amp. I use it strictly as a DI device into my Focusrite 2i2 and Logic. I would use the Dream 65 in a similar manner.
