A friend of mine in India once asked me about the Nathan’s contest. He didn’t understand the rationale/logic behind a food eating contest. I told him not to try to understand it. He didn’t understand why someone would eat more food than necessary for the day, and not save the rest of the food for later.

I can't find the video, but there was a video of a woman from India who was a record holder with Carolina Reapers, she ate a couple and rubbed them in her eyes too.

Frankly, I'm surprised more people don't choke to death in eating competitions.

is it a call to action or just an observation--> since you aren't wired that way, we should not be, thus we should not laugh at what makes us laugh or?

Well no discussion of unintended death dealing is complete without the mention of farts... Or is that what the tacos were suggesting?

Life skills education can't be complete without Jarts. They're an essential part of the core curriculum.

Actually I do not think it's funny to discuss how some people have died.
