Many pedals are of a uniform size and shape - what are some of your favorite pedals housed in odd boxes?
I recently got the Spring King and, just today, the Big Muff. They both look awesome and sound great together. The Spring King is on sale at Sweetwater right now, by the way.

I had the blackstar ht reverb and ht tube drive. Beautiful pedals but the sheer size, stupid unreadable knobs and weird individual power supplies meant they had to go.

It doesn’t get much use but my Rocktron Silver Dragon is absolutely massive and very pedal board unfriendly. Big Muff NYC for scale.

Love my Open Road and Rat, but they are both a bit different than my other pedals.

My SD Twin Tube Classic is pretty odd sized & it weighs an absolute ton. Here it is next to my old DS-1 for comparison:

I always like messing around with my Electro Harmonix Q-Tron. I have an older one in the big box. Its got a different shape and definitely takes up some real estate. Not my pedals below, but the one shows a size comparison

Fuzzrocious, It seems like all their pedals are weird sizes. But they're so great it's just worth it.

Add 12 volts and you have a pedal that stays home….

Since my Russian and U.S. Big Muffs are so pedalboard-unfriendly, I built compact versions of them.

I actually don't have too many pedals that aren't on the compact side, because I mostly refuse buying anything that I can't put on my compact pedalboard.

I did get an Ashdown Bass Envelope Filter pedal some years ago, and the width and height dimensions are just far from optimal.

I really especially dislike pedals that are wider than they are tall, even if the in & out jacks are placed on the top/back. Probably the ones that I dislike the most are the Z Vex pedals, since they are both wider than they are tall, and they have the in & out jacks on the side. It makes it impossible to turn them 90 degrees to mount on a compact pedalboard.

I picked up a Big Muff Pi and a Rat in the old style big boxes. I think they look cool. They will probably never be used. I like the "substitutes" that I have better.

I also have a Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom in a "sideways" config. I get it out and use it from time to time. It never stays out though.

El Capistan & Red Panda Particle? They fit my setup, so I don't notice. Same depth, two pedals wide, roughly. And I like top mounted jacks.
