A diamond in the rough.
I guess this thread raises an important question - when is a Tele not a Tele ? My First thought was "No Tele is ugly".... but a couple on here have me doubting my initial assumption. There is something about the pick guard on the OP that makes me uneasy - and both the TeleJigsaw and Tele-Vee seem to solve a problem nobody had. But the worst for me is the badly painted green one with yellow stripes, cut off brige plate, wonky ill fitting Humbucker and record as badly fitted pickguard. Ultimately, it's borderline genius but probably deserves to spend the rest of it's days waiting for "medication time".
It's a Nashville Power Tele whose neck developed problems, so I replaced the neck with the one shown. As I recall it's a Warmouth.
This is the Hellecaster made from leftover parts in my shop.
I think that's beautiful!!!
haha i bought one of those white pieces of **** from china! the neck was held on by air! i threw that thing out the window and left it there, it's still out there now covered in snow.
i'm gonna get my arse kicked and say anything G&L is ugly
KR's guitarist has a mean sounding tele tho its modifed upper horn is pretty darn ugly TME...
The blonde in the pink top at the upper left corner at the end of the video on the other hand...
That's kinda ugly. If the marks mean something to you, like you know who did them, it may be good lookin.
Doug Pratt, Atlanta
that is magnificent clunker
Considering that this guitar was responsible for some of the greatest music ever recorded, it didn't get much respect. It's like sending a Triple Crown winner horse to the slaughter house.
BUT the one on the right is the most beautiful telecaster on the market, if you just decide to use the discs as coins for a board game, or to decorate your home windows…
Nothing ugly about this one! I like it!
2019 Am Pro. Wild grain pattern but the V Mod pickups sound incredible. Especially through a Vox AC10
I like my Tele..
I have another one for you. Fender CS 1952 Tele.
Or what about this one? Satin black Nash T57
