Owned by a roto rooter guy?
These are my ugliest, take your choice! Incidentally they're both purty to me!
Posted this one awhile back. Ugly as hell but its one of my best feeling and sound teles I own. She was a partscaster pawn shop find about 5 yrs ago. A nice fat neck, 6lbs even. No idea what the pups are. Just a great sounding tele that will stay with me for good.
Both are pretty beat up
Thanks. The idea behind this one was; what if fender had sold out to another company and what would they look like in the sears catalog? It's a guitar mill partscaster that was assembled with a 50s "baseball bat" neck and a ash body with a 62 bridge pickup and a twisted tele neck pickup. I wanted something that was both unique and had a sense of humor.
But fixable with a light sanding and res pray.
not ugly tele - I think this is inspired by JGarcia's Tiger guit
gift from my sister in law
inside: pick pocket. . .
A 1960s style Tele is a beautiful thing but the hideous paint job of the Joe Strummer roadworn Tele certainly ruined it!!
Yea, I gave that idea some thought when I bought it, but it sounds and feels to damn good to gamble. Hell, no one seems to care when im out gigging it. If it aint broke!
Bought one of these for $50, sold it for $250. Ugly, gone.
See the one on the left? That’s not my favorite color. It is still that color because it plays wonderfully and I left well enough alone.
I don't own one but when the photo finish ones start going bad it's pretty ugly.
Here's my ugly...
Maybe they're all ugly.
A matter of perspective I guess.
Now we're getting somewhere...
Sorry Chuck, that's just too cool to qualify.
