My folks had a ‘62 “stewed tater” Lark, first car I drove. I’d wash it just so I could drive it to the spigot. Also a ‘60 or so red truck. Someone left the window open and a cat climbed inside and shat in it. It stunk even after we cleaned it up, so we sprayed some Avon rose scented air freshener in it. Smelled like rose scented cat ****e then. Those last studebakers were horribly ugly I thought. Kinda like Mercedes. Early ‘60s Mopars similar I thought back then, but one with a screaming hemi and sleepily hotrodded would be downright classy now I think.View attachment 1397491

Opinions vary on these, they sure move enough of them but I don’t like it and don’t like that it’s named for this city.

The car or the driver? Actually I think I saw another bloke driving one of these in one of his shows on Netflix, and he in a similar small ugly one accidentally drove it off the road. But he does seem the ideal driver of an ugly one, matches his persona!
