    Hey Starshine...........

I actually like that SG and wouldn't mind having it in my collection. I've never seen one quite like that but I don't see a [email protected] thing wrong with it..........JH in va.

All SG's should be like Angus Young's SG. Nuff said.

I like the Emily guitar. If I ever walk into a shop and they have a used one I'll be in big trouble. Very cool.

I have the humbucker deluxe version of this one. I don't totally disagree with your comment but I do like the les paul style pick guard on it. The neck is my biggest gripe. Very narrow width at the nut and thin throughout. It has an almost flat contour to the back of it and no neck angle so the fretboard sits very high over the body. Not crazy about the front mounted control cover. Mine came stock in stereo with slide switches for pickup selection.

John Birch - well spotted - the guitar was originally a 67 Junior. I spotted it in Manchester & it's now owned by Greg of Rock Stars Guitars.

The outers are a pair of Superflux's with a Simplux in the middle. Two x 5 way switches giving God knows what how many options.

So many ugly SG's I felt the need to restore faith in the SG. Well, technically this one is still a Les Paul. Anyway, here's my early 1963 Les Paul (SG) Jr.

    Sucha beauty!

    Fat necks only.

Told you she's a Les Paul

    Full body shot.

Installed a mojoaxe compensated bridge today.

The back hasn't experienced as much sun fading. Still very red.

My old SG customised by John Birch, with a 26kohm Magnum pickup and a cast steel bridge.

Dude, I would seriously rock that thing. 2xP90s, Bigsby with that loooong arm.....I love cool guitars that nobody has. i would have to replace that harmonica bridge, though.

I think my SG is a beautiful guitar. Besides a Tele, which will always be my #1, I've always thought that the SG's were just awesome to look at.

I've always thought this looks like an SG with tele bits. Regardless it looks poopy.

I was told a '61 but the guy I sold it to reckoned it was a custom one-off none-Gibson.

Yup, the Norlin era Gibsons were stinkers.
I kinda like the Zoot Suit guitars, for some reason.
Oddly, every one I played weighed a ton.
I think SGs are great sculpture, but I can't keep one in tune at gunpoint.
Robin Artisan SG styles, with carved tops are gorgeous, too.

+1 truely unforgetable. Gibson has created some real monsters

My only complaint, no hello kitty models in pink.
