Get a bag of those mini Snickers and have one of those instead after meals. You have to substitute the "treat".

Congrats. The longer you go without - the easier it gets. I quit smoking back in 1988/30 years ago.

Congrats man, if you go back now it's out of choice you're over the addiction for sure! I've been quit since 1988, don't quite understand why I don't have a new Tahoe sitting in my driveway from all the money I've saved.

I switched from cigarettes to pipe tobacco and cigars, that helped me slow down the amount I was smoking and it was better than the cigarettes. Then I could eventually give it up altogether.

Stay on that wagon! I'm a couple of weeks shy of five years myself.

    Do you still want them?

Congrats man. Quitting smoking is the hardest thing I have ever done and I graduated from SERE school. I crave the things every flipping day. Keep fighting it.

Congrats, I'm on year 10. I put on quite a lot of weight compulsively snacking after I stopped, which took a long time to beat:oops: Hopefully you've avoided that!

So glad I never picked up this habit--I've heard it's incredibly difficult to kick, and it's just nasty. Congrats to you!
