Anniversary

Heritage 55 Hz

65 Lil' Elvis
Telecaster

First off, they both sound great and the difference ranges from negligible to mild when comparing.

The Anniversary is brighter
The 55 Hz is less bright but still bright enough.
The 55 Hz has more bottom
The Anniversary has more high mids
The 55 Hz sounds slightly scooped in comparison with the Anniversary
The 55 Hz sounds quieter at the same level of the Anniversary (I don't think this is an efficiency thing. I think it's a frequency band thing)

After playing the 55 Hz for a day or two, I still leave open the possibility of going back to the Anniversary.

I hope this helps anyone considering these.

 

I did go back to the Anniversary. I'll try the 55 Hz in my Bad Cat before I think about selling it.

I was hard headed about it but the Anniversary is the best speaker for my Lil Elvis.
