I started writing instrumentals a week or so ago. Got two done so far, both are (and the rest will be) spur-of-the-moment compositions. I'm doing a thing now where after I finish one I wipe out all the audio from the DAW and keep everything else as a template for the next song. Hopefully this will eventually result in a collection of songs that sound consistent.....ly bad.

The cover photo is the last guitar I acquired and it's a cool photo but it's a bit misleading, since these songs were done with this. I'm forcing myself to use the center switch position which is my least-favorite on an H-H guitar, but in a way I'm starting to like it.

I have a Heritage H-140, is that what yours is?
Mine has no pickup covers.
Great songs.
Yeah, it's an '86 H-140. I bought it in '92 and it had an EMG active set in it which sounded great with the large amps I used back then, but when I moved to smaller amps the output was just too high. Now it's a Guitar Madness overwound Alnico II in the Bridge, and a Stew Mac Golden Age neck humbucker.
