The original premise for this thread is so vacuous that all I can do is post a photo of someone in a knit viking costume.

Vacuous?? It was just meant to be a bit of fun, a little bit of humour. I'm sorry if it lacked the intellectual heft that you've come to expect of the Bad Dog Café. I shall endeavour to bring a little more academic solemnity to the next thread, thereby allowing you to demonstrate that incredible erudition of which you are clearly so proud and find so little opportunity to exhibit.

I don't always say BMW, but when I do, I say BMW.
If I want something finicky and high maintanance in my life, I'll get married again.

I think you should try to aim higher in terms of "intellectual heft." Look at my first response, for example. What could be more erudite and intellectual than someone in a knit viking outfit? And if that isn't enough, try THIS little gem of superior thought: a dog with pink hair on a surfboard. If that doesn't blow your pseudo-Nietzshian assumptions right out of the water, then you are beyond help. And if you fire any more condescending remarks in more direction, I will be forced to respond with photos of things made with bacon!

There's good people and there's evil people.

Don't wake me up without a very good reason, don't startle me in the shower, and try not to talk to me about very important things 5 mins. after I wake up.
