Twin Reverb Vs. Deluxe Reverb

    Curious where the OP is with his amp setup these days. Which one panned out best after many years of use? Also, I got a lot of useful info out of this thread myself. Great read!

    An oldie but a goody!
    Personally I like my Twin Reverbs more than my Deluxe Reverb. Not that the BFDR is a bad amp I just don't care for it unless it's pretty loud, a Maverick helps there. But overall I'd rather use one of the TRs, or a Princeton Reverb or Super Reverb.
    Speaking of Super Reverbs. . . . .I should go pull apart the 66 I bought before I went to LA to shoot that TV pilot.

    Last night as per info in this thread and some other careful research online, I pulled the two outer power tubes and disconnected one of my speakers in my twin. It was definitely a noticeable difference... for the better.
