Having a week off, and the interwebs/cable being down due to some moronic digging in the neighbourhood, I had to bring out some of my stored box sets to watch on my bluray player.

I started watching Rome (HBO), and man alive, it's so great on all levels!

Post your favourite series here if you please! DVD/Bluray/stream/cable.

Six Feet Under was great, and somewhat overlooked in the annals of all-time best shows (Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, etc.)

For something lighter, you might go back to Freaks and Geeks, which is the show or movie about high school that most closely resembles reality. That show was exactly like my high school experience.

My daughter-in-law has the full Trumptonshire trilogy. It is an afternoon of delight watching it.

I don't own many, but will re-watch The Wire every couple of years. Seasons 1,3,4 are my favs by far.

The only things I like enough to buy the set:
    Deadwood (Mainly Season 1)
    Dexter
    Battlestar Galactica (2004)

    Don't own but would buy:
    Utopia
    The Umbrella Academy
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)

Last night as I was starting to re-watch Season 5 of American Horror Story I was thinking I'd buy a box set of that season only.

I was thinking "UFO" was an American series from the early 70s, about 2 Air Force officers who went around the country investigating UFO sightings. I remember seeing it when I was maybe 7 or 8. Now that I see this, I can't figure out what that old American series was called.

EDIT: Google says it was "Project UFO" and I must have seen it when I was more like 12-13, because it didn't exist when I was 8. It was a Jack Webb (Dragnet/Adam 12) series.

Is anybody familiar with Patriot? Dark comedy series, with Michael Dorman and Terry O'Quinn, about a spy with severe PTSD who writes folk songs about his job (mainly about the people he kills)?
