I've played a lot of different guitars with a lot of different tuners over the years. When I first tried a tele with vintage tuners a couple of years ago I really thought; why bother?! There's a ton of different styles, brands, ratios and designs out there. But Leo got it right from the get go. Vintage tele tuners – the best by far!

    Because not everyone has tele.

Tune once, check it again next year, but know it'll be fine and it's just because you feel you should.

Though I will never understand why tuner evolution moved away from the hole in the top. Tidy, no pointy ends, no excessive winds.

Also nice song. And you managed to not let your mouth flap like a dying fish while playing wah guitar. Unlike me.

They're pretty good, as far as tuners go.

Another vote for vintage tuners. Very easy to change strings and very stable afterwards.

To my eyes at least they look the best too.

Exactley! The hole in the top IS the perfect solution. Period!

String change with vintage tele tuners with the hole in the top is even easier. In my opinion anyway.

Well thanks a lot!:) If anybody's interested, our album is out on all digital platforms. Here's a link to Spotify:

Album recoded a few months before I got tele hooked for life, so I recorded the whole thing with my Les Paul through a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. Next album's gonna be all tele though!

I agree. What could be more simple? Cut off excess, stick in hole, wrap and tune

... no argument from me. Leo had it right.

.... I would also like add that there is a special place in hell for Floyd Rose.
